Abigail is joining the Embarc team as a design intern. She is currently in her third year pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and a minor in Urban Landscapes at Northeastern University. She is passionate about architecture in its relation to health and fascinated by its potential connection to longevity and Blue Zones.
Growing up, she split her time between Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Originally from Bridgewater, MA, she spent winter weekends away in NH skiing with her cousins and eventually skiing every day in high school while attending Holderness School. She is continuously captivated and inspired by her surrounding environment, attentive to the beauty of tiny details within landscapes.
Her love for housing came at an early age nestled in the nook of her third floor in a hidden village. She built her own Playmobil utopia out of Jenga blocks, popsicle sticks, cardboard, sample floorings from Home Depot, along with any other materials lying around. Rather than confining herself to someone else’s design of a pink plastic fantasy, she created her own.
Outside of the studio, Abigail loves to cook, travel, read, and swim in the ocean.
