A historic brownstone constructed in 1850 attracted the attention of our client thanks to cool arched windows, open spaces, and a fully residential space. Inside, not one but three units awaited, one of which would be the client’s primary residence, while the other two would be for tenants.
With the intention to push the boundaries of residential design, the client wanted to create different aesthetics for the three units, plus the rear garden and roof deck. The team wanted the fresh design to reflect the history of both Boston and the building while speaking to the city’s future. Our team created a timeless aesthetic with punches of cool-kid sophistication. Each unit is tailored to reflect the existing architectural elements, and the project was featured in Modern Luxury Interiors Boston in 2022.
