Embarc was engaged to design a 17-story mixed-use project for the hypothetical development of a site on the East Boston waterfront which is subject to use restrictions as it located within a Designated Port Area (DPA).  The vision is to transform the industrial waterfront site into a vibrant destination that combines market rate and affordable housing, convenient access to public transportation, public access to the waterfront and incorporates climate resiliency (flood prevention) as part of a larger East Boston waterfront initiative in the future.
